Pinning Things on the Fridge

I’ve been a big fan of integrating Pinterest into our marketing strategy. I’ve been seeing more success with it lately and I suspect that has a lot to do with the increasing growth of the platform itself. As I’ve stated before on here, I’m a visual person and the photos draw me in. I’ve got a fantastic collection going on my board titled, “Stars” (as in the ones in the sky not people).

Fun fact. I met Ben Silberman (founder of Pinterest) at TechCrunch Disrupt in NYC in May 2010. He was in the demo Startup Alley with the rest of us. I can’t be certain but I think it was the crowd favorite, it certainly was mine. Anywho…here’s my own personal Pinterest-esque post about me.

Always wanted to try things just a little differently than everyone else.

This little video below is a community marketing campaign we did call, “Turn in Your Friends.” It was suppose to call on our community to turn in their friends they thought could use our latest product but as you’ll see in the video…the joke was on me.

I met Ben Silbermann at TC Disrupt in 2010. We both were in Startup Alley on the same day. On the back of this card is their number I scribbled down “476″ bc at the end of the day you could vote on which Startup in the Alley should win. This was the only Startup I actually voted for…both days.
