One of my favorite entrepreneurial sites is The Daily Muse. They’ve done a nice job with that site. If you’re looking for a job with a startup company or need some daily career advice I recommend checking them out. I haven’t had a chance to check out their new Muse University program but I will and coming from this group it will likely not disappoint.
Anyway…I was honored to be able to write a blog post for The Daily Muse. Truth be told I had to write this piece twice because the first time I really didn’t have the right audience or tone. Try, try again. Anyway, with the help of the fantastic editorial team over there I think we got this one right. I’d especially encourage you to read this if you just started a new role in community management and/or working at a startup right now.

Someone on Twitter commented that they felt Brand Ambassador Programs never work or amount to anything. I was grateful for the feedback. My response is that its success largely depends on what the goals of the program are and how it’s executed.
